Starting the tasks
So I finally got around to starting my tasks! I started on Task 3 which includes tracking how an artist's image has changed over time and if their audience has grown with them. I decided to look at Britney Spears as she's had a lot of publicity about her life so I figured that it would be easy to track her image and how her career has progressed since the 1990's. It was really interesting to see how quickly she grew up in the spotlight and how she transisitioned so she could fit the market and keep her audience. It's really helped me understand what is required of a teenage 'pop princess' and how young artists struggle in the limelight and the pressure they undergo. Hopefully, this will really help me in writing my final piece.
